The Seven Rivers Regulators is a SASS affiliated that is home based in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We shoot the third Saturday of every Month and would love to have you come out and shoot with us or to just enjoy the spectacle of the event where grown men and women dress up as cowboys and cowgirls to take part in one of the best shooting sports in the world. Cowboy Action Shooting is a multifaceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, lever action rifles, and side by side double barreled, pre-1899 pump, or lever action shotguns. The shooting competition is staged in a unique, characterized, "Old West" style.

Seven Rivers Regultors and the monument springs bushwhackers show their appreciation for all Unsinkable Lolly and Wyola Kid have done for the club and our First Annual Southeastern New Mexico Annual, a combined annual for Seven Rivers Regulators and Monument Springs Bushwhackers.
The Seven Rivers Regulators (7RR), a Single Action Shooting Society, held their monthly shoot on Saturday, September 19th down at the Carlsbad Public Shooting Range. A total of 12 shooters showed up to compete and play “cowboy”. Overall match results were as follows: 1st place, Bucho Cargado (165 seconds); 2nd place, Alchemy John (171 sec); 3rd place, Curly Bill (201 sec); 4th place, Ole Cranky (248 sec); and 5th place, Stink Creek Jones (167 sec). Our next shoot will be on October 17th, 2015. We are currently on Summer Shooting Hours: setup is at 8am, the mandatory Safety Meeting at 8:30 and the shooting starts at 9am.

Our matches are held on the third Saturday of each month. It is mandatory that all shooters attend the Safety Meeting held before each match. Setup begins at 8:00am, Safety Meeting at 8:30am, Lead starts to fly at 9:00am (summer hours) . So grab your guns, put on your hat and come give us a try. We know you'll have a good time.
