Seven Rivers Regulators

The Seven Rivers Regulators is a SASS affiliated that is home based in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We shoot the third Saturday of every Month and would love to have you come out and shoot with us or to just enjoy the spectacle of the event where grown men and women dress up as cowboys and cowgirls to take part in one of the best shooting sports in the world. Cowboy Action Shooting is a multifaceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, lever action rifles, and side by side double barreled, pre-1899 pump, or lever action shotguns. The shooting competition is staged in a unique, characterized, "Old West" style.

The Seven Rivers Regulators next monthly shoot will be the Annual Shoot and will be held on May 18, 19, & 20 and summer times will be in effect (set up at 8:00am, safety meeting at 8:30am, shooting starts at 9:00am).....

The Seven Rivers Regulators (7RR), a Single Action Shooting Society, held their monthly shoot on April 26thy down at the Carlsbad Public Shooting Range.  The members of the 7RR would like to thank all twenty-one competitors for their continued support and especially all the new visitors who showed up to watch the competition.  To learn more about the 7RR, please visit our website at www.sevenrr.com.  Overall match results were as follows: 1^st place, Stink Creek Jonesl (157 seconds); 2^nd place, Mike D harkey (185sec); 3^rd place, El Diablo (188 sec); 4^th place, Val Darrant (195 sec); and 5^th place, Pecos Pearll (212 sec). 

The next shoot will be on Mayl 18, 19, & 20, 2012.  Summer Hours will be in effect, so setup will be at 8am, the Safety meeting at 8:30 and the shooting starts at 9am.

Our matches are held on the third Saturday of each month. It is mandatory that all shooters attend the Safety Meeting held before each match. Setup begins at 8:00am, Safety Meeting at 8:30am, Lead starts to fly at 9:00am (summer hours) . So grab your guns, put on your hat and come give us a try. We know you'll have a good time.
